Why take a class with Lisa Christensen
I have been teaching on Zoom for over 10 years. I keep my classes small and focus on beginner, hobby, and novice watercolor artists. I enjoy sharing how I view and paint the natural world around me, and share that love and joy with my students.
Zoom is my preferred platform to teach. I love how easy it is to share the creative process on Zoom, online. Most zoom classes will come with materials that you can use to copy the line image to paint, and explore the subject and medium.
I also teach in person, and am available for workshops, classes, and speaking engagements.

Join a Zoom Class
Zoom classes are held regularly on Tuesday Mornings, and ocassionally on Saturdays in the Morning- Central Standard time.
I believe that Creativity is ment to be enjoyed by others, and as visual artists we can create simple and beautiful small paintings to give to friends and family, either by it’s self or as a greeting card.
I also teach afterschool art programs, and would delighted to help teach your after-school art program on Zoom

Florals in Watercolor on Zoom September 9th, 9:30am-11 (CST)
Wild Rose watercolor Floral class
Learn the fundamentals of watercolor while painting florals. I give you the line drawing that is the size of an A2 Card base for you to copy and use. I then share how to watercolor the line drawing. In this class, we will learn more about color theory and watercolor techniques that floral watercolor artists use.

Painting Christmas– Series of Watercolor classes every Tuesday starting September 16th- October 21st on Zoom 9:30 am-11. (video recording will be avalible, with a Live Chat on Saturday September 20.

This is going to be a great way to get some watercolor cards ready to go for your Holiday and Christmas Season! I give you all the reference photos and line drawings to paint a successful painting and a greeting card.
Each class/day, you should have 2, maybe even 3 cards ready for you to send- and to repaint.
$75 for a 6-week course
